Emily walked slowly along and heard a rustling noise on the other side of the creek. No, it wasn't a mountain lion, but there was a coyote! Emily insists she was NOT scared, but decided to climb up a tree just for fun.

There were a couple of branches laying across the river that formed a kind of bridge.

Emily knows that the best way to see wildlife is to sit quietly and wait and she is very patient. While sitting here she saw a downy woodpecker, a black capped chickadee and a pair of malard ducks. Satisfied that this was a successful day, she decided to head home.
